Artist invited to The Republic of Yemen, Middle East , to exhibit works at the French Cultural Center, Sana’a and as guest speaker to the Radda Barnan international NGO conference in Arden.

South Africa – three of the major public galleries in South Africa – Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria – showed Gittoes work dealing with Africa over the last decade - included series of public talks and workshops by Gittoes.
